System Description
During natural operation, industrial circulating cooling systems are subject to scaling or corrosion due to the combined effects of circulating water hardness, pH value, concentration cycles, temperature, environmental conditions, and humidity. These phenomena adversely affect the safety and operational efficiency of the cooling system. To inhibit scaling or corrosion, it is necessary to manually dose the water with corrosion inhibitors or scale inhibitors. Commonly used inhibitors include phosphates, zinc salts, and polycarboxylates.
Process Overview
The equipment is primarily composed of four sections: the chemical preparation system, the metering pump dosing system, the control system, and the auxiliary system.
Solid corrosion or scale inhibitors are added to the solution tank and then diluted and dissolved with demineralized water in specific proportions. The metering pump dosing system then transports the solution to the required dosing points. The control mode can be operated manually or automatically based on control signals output from a host computer system.
Application Field
Industrial circulating water
Municipal water supply and drainage
Wastewater and sewage treatment
Raw water pretreatment for thermal power plants
